Washout Express Series

WASHOUT EXPRESS: Bailey Brown has just lost her job, her birthright, and her fiancé. Loaded with enough insecurities to fill a suitcase, she prays for God to show her the way and then hits the road feeling like the ultimate loser. Exit 477: Washout Express. The roadside sign taunts Bailey. Is God confirming she’s expressly washed-up? Or does He have something better for her waiting at the end of the exit ramp?

This book made me look at my faith and all of my relationships in a different light. The story was so compelling I could not stop reading. The characters were so real and the emotion of each character struck a chord with me so much that when I completed the book I picked it up and read it again. I am anxiously waiting for the next book! I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone! B. G. Amazon Five Star Review

A great book captures your mind and you become lost in it. Ms. Day’s “Washout Express” draws you in and not only lets you see what is happening, but also allows you to feel Bailey Brown’s deep despair and grief over her losses. Bailey shows an extraordinary ability to forgive the one who has caused her pain while crediting the Holy Spirit for this. Visualizations, scents, and textures wrap you in this story and make you want to settle in for a while. Enjoy the journey as Bailey learns to trust in God and learns to love again. Bring your coffee (or tea) cup, a tissue or two, and open your heart for a book that reminds me of the LaVyrle Spencer books of years ago, except Ms. Day’s heroine finds the grace and love of God and real love and forgiveness in her happy ever after. WEDDING EXPRESS LOVED it! Second book in the series. These characters seem like my friends. They experience real feelings and problems. This neighborhood could be down the road from me. Can’t wait for the next book! Well done, Jody Day! Carol U. Amazon Five Star Review

This story takes up right after Washout Express. Set in a quaint Texas community, readers who love miracles and spectacular weddings will have fun with this story. It’s not necessary to read the first story to fall in love with these characters and their story in the Wedding Express. Told from multiple viewpoints, the reader is carried along by the whirlwind events of loss, a medical emergency, and surprise knots of every kind. It’s short and sweet. L. L. Amazon Review

JOY EXPRESS This is Jody’s third book in this series. SO GOOD! I read the whole book in about 3 hours, it was that good! If you haven’t read the first two, go read them! But there are enough references that it can be a stand alone story. Jody’s books are so good because they are so REAL. The characters experience things that real people experience, and remind us that God is always working for us to draw us to Him and help us learn how much he loves us, even when life is hard and ugly. Job well done, Jody Day! C. U. Amazon Five Star Recview

Joy Express is an outstanding book, and once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down! The third in a series, Joy Express continues the story of Scott and Bailey West as they face challenges in their relationship, as well as their individual lives. The story reassures us that through life’s unexpected bumps in the road, God’s grace and love is always there to lift us up and get us through. Without Him, we can do nothing. Thank you, Jody Day, for this amazing story! M. H. Amzzon Five Star Review
